Bhubaneswar : As coronavirus cases continue to rise across the country, several states including Jharkhand, West Bengal and Assam have reimposed lockdowns in some of their districts in order to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus. Keeping amidst COVID-19 it is believed that Odisha government may also extend Lockdown after June 30.
Odisha has presently around 6,000 corona positive cases. Recovery rate in state is also more than 50%. Odisha government had declared Saturday & Sunday shutdown in various district earlier till 30th June. To curb rising cases of Corona Positive in state , speculations from power corridors reflect mood of government in extending Lockdown and continue weekends Shutdown.
